SANTA CLAUS is coming back to the manor! Santa will be riding in style through the streets of Jefferson Manor on Saturday, December 17th, at approximately 6 pm, on a Fairfax County Fire Department Ladder Truck! Additional emergency vehicles will be following parade style, pending availability. Here are the details:
  • Saturday evening, December 17th sometime between 6 and 7 the heroes of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department will slowly drive through the Manor, with sirens blaring. Santa will be front and center on the ladder truck.
  • Please show them a hardy Manor welcome! Signs and decorations are encouraged. Our local Penn Daw station is within the top ten U.S. stations in calls for service……, it would be great to show them that they are appreciated!
  • The route posted below may NOT be the final route. To ensure a viewing, the corner of Fairhaven and Monticello will be your best viewing opportunity.
  • This event is subject to vehicle and personnel availability, calls for service will take precedence. There is no proposed makeup date.
  • I will try to “live post” as Santa approaches the neighborhood……
  • I’m looking forward to seeing our first responders meet some neighbors, let’s show Santa the spirit of the Manor!
